Essence

Karen Lynch was born in Canada and made her stage debut aged four and she has performed on stage with the world renowned soprano Dame Kiri Te Kanawa. Now living in Ireland, Karen is taking another exciting step in her musical career.

Paul Redmond first caught the attention of audiences with his live performances on RTE in the John Player Tops of the Town Competition winning the awards for the Most Promising Entertainer and Most Outstanding Singer.

Paul and Karen's performance in Holycross Abbey for our wedding day took my breath away! I wanted the music in the church to be really special but they really exceeded my expectations - they were absolutely magnificent! I even heard afterwards that passers by were drawn onto the back just to hear them. The Harmonies were beautiful and both voices are really powerful. I had the pleasure of hearing Paul and Karen sing at the opening of Fado Restaurant over a year ago and was immediately enchanted by their magnificent voices .At the end of the evening I spoke to them and explained that my daughter Janna was getting married on June 2nd 06 and would they sing at the ceremony. To my great delight they accepted. During the following few months we had many discussions about what they would sing, the type of performance etc,they were always so ready to chat.
All I can say that Jannas and Johns wedding ceremony was made so special because of them, each and every guest commented on their singing, and the sight and sound of the two of them walking back down the aisle to "Amigos Para Siempre" will stay withus forever. On the 6th of August in Springfort Hall Hotel in Mallow,Cork. I had booked Essence for a musical tribute.The delivery of their performance was extremely professional,with a warmth that moved the guests and generated a tremendous response with standing ovations.Many people approched me afterwards to make a point of thanking me for bringing such wonderful music to them,I have no hesitation in recommending them to any parish or organisation or private function.Karen and Paul have brought out 2 cd's together called "A Taste Of Essence" and "Spiritual Essence" Thank you again for a night to remember.

I'm a bit biased (Paul is my uncle in law) but Paul & Karen are great. They provide a great service and any bride who books them is extremely lucky!
