Practical planning for life together

Couples today have demanding lives and the period leading up to their wedding is an especially busy one. We at MRCS adopt a unique approach to Marriage Preparation. Your Marriage Preparation course takes only one session, three hours in length and is custom-designed.

One counsellor – one couple.

This means that you can complete the course at a time and date that is suitable to you.

We ask you to complete a questionnaire beforehand, which includes your expectations, personal strengths and limitations, sex, in-laws, children, finance, etc. Your responses give your counsellor useful insights before you ever meet and it allows you to concentrate on the areas that deserve the most attention. During the session, issues may arise where we feel it would be beneficial to recommend you to an appropriate expert e.g. financial consultant, sex therapist, etc.

A certificate will be awarded to you following completion of the course, but moreover, you will be better prepared for your life together.
