Inis M�r, with a population of about 900 is the largest of the three Irish speaking Aran Islands, in the mouth of Galway Bay, are renowned for their unique way of life, where the age old traditions co-exist comfortably with modern living. The islands have a rich history which can be seen from their ancient monuments, from both prehistoric and Christian times.
The three islands are part of County Galway, but their limestone base is closely connected with that of the Burren in Co. Clare.

Ancient crafts and skills can still be seen today on the islands, with stunning, locally produced knitwear available.

The Hotel

The Aran Islands Hotel, �st�n �rann, is a unique and remarkable new product, located on one of Europe�s most picturesque and unspoilt environments, offering a luxurious three star standard hotel experience in a traditional and sympathetic style. The hotel is family run by the O�Flahertys whose long history and affection with the island was the inspiration for the hotel�s development.

The hotel has 22 Three Star standard en-suite bedrooms, including five magnificent Kingsize bed rooms with balconies and spectacular views of Cill �inne Bay and Cill R�n�in Harbour. All bedrooms are spacious and beautifully appointed and include facilities such as TV, Direct Dial Telephone, ISDN, Trouser Press, Hair-Dryer, Tea / Coffee Making Facilities.
